Jujutsu Kaisen can undeniably be called one of the best animes of 2020-2021 so far. We just can’t get enough of all the pre-existing characters yet, and now MAPPA has decided to add onto our (happy) suffering.
With a brand-new movie scheduled for release, fans will be getting a glimpse at Jujutsu Kaisen’s prequel manga! We all knew that the movie would be releasing soon, but it looks like we miscalculated how soon.
Jujutsu Kaisen: Vol 0, the upcoming mega movie of the year will premiere on 24th December 2021! Consider this as the best Christmas gift ever from MAPPA.
With a majestic visual release, MAPPA has already started to set the stage towards the movie’s opening.
So what exactly is going on in the visual? There are some texts in the bordering area which say: “The origin of Jujutsu Kaisen – a story of Love and Curse.”
Yuta Okkotsu, the main protagonist of the upcoming film, is holding the hand of a girl in the poster. This girl is Rika, a human who has now become a special grade curse that possesses Yuta.
However, Yuta cannot let go of her, mainly due to a past accident and his guilt. Since this film takes place as a prequel to the original story, it does not feature Yuji, Nobara, or Megumi.
Gojo will once again make an appearance, and this time, in a younger form! Get ready to squeal Gojo simps.
Recently, Jujutsu Kaisen fans were a bit down in the dumps due to Gege Akutami’s prolonged hiatus. Fear not, because MAPPA is here to cheer you up!
With an awesome plot and some new characters to sell your heart to, Jujutsu Kaisen: Vol 0 is ready for a groundbreaking release.

The story revolves around Yuuji Itadori, a high-school student who, despite hating athletics, is insanely fit. Yuuji gets involved in the world of sorcery when he swallows a powerful talisman to protect his friends from its curse.
On observing that Yuuji wasn’t affected much even when inflicted with this curse, Satoru decides to send Yuuji on a quest to save the world.
