Yuuji Itadori, the (unusually) physically fit protagonist of Jujutsu Kaisen, is gaining fans worldwide.

Yuuji is joined by Satoru Gojo, the scene-stealer of the series. Although he is a teacher at Jujutsu Academy, his charms are having a surefire effect on fans.

The official Twitter account of Jujutsu Kaisen announced that the manga has surpassed 10,000,000 copies in sales as of now.

The figures include the sale of physical and digital copies and all the volumes and light novels.

With the anime out, this figure will only increase. The 10,000 mark is a huge threshold for volume sales. Due to the increase in pirating websites, sales have seen a drop.

The pandemic is also having a significant effect on sales of physical copies of volumes. Even though digital copy distribution has increased, it doesn’t amount to a noticeable difference.

Jujutsu Kaisen has released a total of 13 volumes till October 2020. The first volume was published in July 2018, and Volume 0 was released in December 2018.

The anime adaptation of Jujutsu Kaisen premiered on 3rd October 2020 and the fourth episode was released on 24th October.

With the anime picking up speed, more people are bound to get interested in the story. This will, in turn, boost manga sales.
