In the next episode, the one-on-one battle between the students of Kyoto and Tokyo will pick up the heat. As hinted in the preview, we will also finally get to see Panda fight seriously as he faces Ultimate Mechamaru.

As the students’ duel rages on, none of the teachers have stopped the event, and it might be because it is under the boundary circumstances of the event as long as the students don’t kill each other.

With both the schools leaving one member to shoulder the responsibility of completing the event, it will be interesting to see which side will be able to exorcise the cursed spirit boss first.

Before the Exchange Event started, Maki decided to leave Itadori behind to stall Toudou as long as possible to buy the rest of them time. But Itadori refused to just slow him down, instead he’s resolved to win against Toudou.

Soon after the event starts, just as anticipated, Toudou approaches the students of Tokyo, and Yuuji faces him head-on as the rest of the members move ahead. However, the overwhelming power of Aoi takes him by surprise, and Toudou knocks out Itadori.

But Itadori’s resolve was not that weak, as he stands up again, even after taking in so much damage. Impressed by this, Toudou asks the first year a question, as a man of culture. And Yuuji’s answer is just what he had always yearned to hear.

This brings Toudou to tears, as he daydreams about going to a regular school with Yuuji and having someone he could lean on. Toudou proclaims Itadori as his best friend, but this heart-warming moment is interrupted by Kyoto High students, as they gang up on Itadori with an intent to kill him.

Toudou gets pissed off at them for interfering in his battle with Itadori and tells them to leave immediately. Kamo reluctantly agrees and leaves the task of killing Yuuji to Toudou.

However, the students of Tokyo find it strange that all of Kyoto students are gathered in the area they left Yuuji in, and given the circumstances, they quickly land on the conclusion that they are trying to kill Yuuji.

So, they decide to let Toge keep hunting the cursed spirit, as the rest of them return back to Itadori. On their way back, they all come face to face with students of Kyoto.

Meanwhile, as the fight between Toudou and Itadori rages on, Toudou is impressed by Yuuji’s tremendous power and acknowledges that Yuuji’s raw strength is greater than his, despite having a smaller body.

However, Toudou gets annoyed by Itadori’s Divergent Fist, as the cursed energy blasts with a time lag. He acclaims that Itadori will never be able defeat him as long as Yuuji is satisfied with just that attack up his sleeves and prompts him get stronger.

Jujutsu Kaisen was initially published as a serialized manga in the Weekly Shonen Jump in 2018.

The story revolves around Yuuji Itadori, a high-school student who is insanely fit despite hating athletics.

Yuuji gets involved in the world of sorcery when he swallows a powerful talisman to protect his friends from its curse.

On observing that Yuuji wasn’t affected much even when inflicted with this curse, Satoru decides to send Yuuji on a quest to save the world.
