Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 242, titled “Stupid Survivor, Rise Up,” begins with Kenjaku summoning a special grade curse named “Akuro Ouhtake” against Takaba.
But Kenjaku’s special grade curse instantly gets crushed by Takaba’s truck. Kenjaku then becomes a police officer as he arrives to investigate.
He accuses Takaba of drinking and driving and asks him to breathe in a bag to check his blood-alcohol level. The bag in which Kenjaku asks Takaba to blow air contains a goldfish.
Kenjaku tells Takaba that he will be arresting him if the goldfish dies. However, it is already dead before their conversation.
Later, Takaba and Kenjaku become doctors and try to treat the fish, but Kenjaku charges the defibrillators on Takaba. They fail to rescue the fish & this gets Takaba depressed, but Kenny turns into a nurse, which Takaba doesn’t find funny & yells at Kenjaku.
Kenjaku and Takaba then play Rock, Paper Scissors. Kenjaku realizes that Takaba’s Cursed Technique isn’t just about the forceful materialization of Takaba’s imagination. It also affects the opponent’s imagination and uses it.
Takaba & Kenjaku then start playing a quiz. MC asks the participants to choose the correct door. The question goes like this: which is difficult to tell others? Self-recommendation or Designated school recommendation.
Kenjaku & Takaba rush towards the door, saying the question was easy. However, just as he is about to rush, Takaba hears someone yelling for help; he then notices a cat in the middle of the road while a taxi is about to hit it.
Takaba runs to save it, but the cat turns out to be Kenjaku & Takaba gets hit by the car instead. They are now in the sea & Takaba runs over Kenjaku with a water bike. Kenjaku & Takaba later play with the water like kids.
Takaba stops Kenjaku and asks him to drink the ocean water. It turns out to be Fanta. Kenjaku realizes that he will lose at this pace.
All these countless scenarios are just simulations for Takaba, but Kenjaku is steadily accumulating damage. Kenjaku realizes that this fight won’t end until Takaba’s desire for comedy is fulfilled.
