I. A Deal with Master Tengen
Itadori and his friends arrive at the Cursed Warehouse in search of Tengen. As they are about to leave, Tengan shows up before them and tells them about Kenjaku.
From everyone’s reaction, it’s clear that nobody has heard that name before. Tengen reveals that Kenjaku is the sorcerer who was once Noritoshi Kamo and now he is possessing Suguru Geto’s body.
When Itadori casually asks about his aged appearance, Tengan clarifies that he may be immortal, but he isn’t immune to aging. His failure to merge with a star vessel for the past 11 years has accelerated his aging.
Yuta brings everyone back to the main topic, Kenjaku and the Prison Realm. Tengen agrees to help them on the condition that any two sorcerers among Yuta, Yuki, and Choso have to stay behind to protect him.
II. Kenjaku’s Evil Intentions
Tengen reveals that Kenjaku wants to force the evolution of humans all around Japan, thereby making them look like him (Tengen). However, Kenjaku doesn’t have the cursed energy to pull this off, so he is looking for a ‘shortcut’ to achieve his goals.
The ‘shortcut’ is Tengen himself; by exploiting his immense power, Kenjaku can create a world of evil. Tengan cannot refuse to merge with Kanjaku since he can’t read humans’ hearts.
He warns them that if anyone merges with him, he becomes something greater than a sorcerer. The person becomes something that is not bounded by a physical body.
In other words, Kenjaku will become too strong to restrain if not stopped immediately. He is the second most powerful barrier user after Tengen, who fought the sorcerers of the six eyes.
Choso and Yuka decide that they will stay back to protect Tengen. He shows them something he calls the ‘Back of the Prison Realm’ that can help to free Satoru Gojo.
