We’re less than a month away from Batwoman season 3. And with the latest teaser, we definitely can not keep calm.
After Kate Kane (played by Wallis Day) went off to search for Bruce Wayne leaving the city, in season 2, the safety of Gotham city is now in the hands of the new Batwoman, Ryan Wilder, played by Javicia Leslie.
Season 3 will focus on Wilder’s transformation as the Batwoman and continue her adventures in Gotham city.
While not much of the plot is given away, Leslie’s Wilder slayed fans’ hearts in the second season, living up to the expectations set by Ruby Rose’s Batwoman.
DC has released a powerful poster for season 3, with Leslie’s Wilder in full effect and her Batwoman mode on. Her intense gaze pierces through the screen as she stands with fists clenched and her hair flying, in front of Arkham Asylum’s iron gates.

Fans eagerly await Wilder’s return, as some seem to love her character more than Kate Kane’s. Both the reactions and the poster make Leslie’s Wilder a much more celebrated version of Batwoman.
Ryan Wilder is an entirely new character created by showrunner Caroline Dries after the original Kate Kane, Ruby Rose, chose to depart from the show.
Season 2 showed Leslie in her powerful avatar of the new Batwoman, but her adventures mainly were shadow-works of Kane.
The upcoming season will also shine a bigger spotlight on Wilder’s personal life, especially now that she is the only Batwoman left in the city.
With new characters already revealed and through Leslie’s interviews, the season will take a deep dive into Wilder’s personal life, such as her search for her biological parents.
There are also theories that Poison Ivy, the villain, will play a significant role in the upcoming season. On the other hand, there are also rumors that Kate Kane might come back.
Leslie’s Ryan Wilder will be ‘out for justice’ in Batwoman season 3 on October 13.
