Jason Momoa And Dwayne Johnson Could Collaborate on A Future Movie

Actors Jason Momoa and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson are looking into making a movie together.

The two Hollywood stars are renowned for their action-heavy films, and both have gained considerable fame for playing musclemen-like figures in projects like Game of Thrones and Baywatch.

Although a collaboration between them has only been playing out in our wildest dreams, it might become a reality soon.

In his recent appearance on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, Momoa revealed that not only has he been friends with The Rock for decades, owing to a mutual friend in Hawaii, but they have also shared an interest in working together.

The actor further stated that the reason behind their plan not coming to fruition yet is primarily because Johnson is “way busier” than him. Read his full statement below:

“We’ve tried to get together and make a movie together, it’s just that he’s way busier than I am and I’m pretty busy right now, so, one of these days we’re gonna get together and make something.”

Unfortunately, Momoa couldn’t expand on this further as he was interrupted by the gushing Fallon, who excitedly remarked about a prospective future project.

There can be no denying, though, that a film including Momoa and Johnson will appeal to audiences instantly, but it remains a mystery as to what sort of a project they could collaborate on.

The former pro wrestler is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Jungle Cruise. On the other hand, Momoa has begun filming for Aquaman 2 and is also actively taking part in promotions for the second season of the Apple TV+ series See.

The uncertainty behind choosing a genre agreeable to them both could be a likelihood behind them not joining hands yet.

Johnson possesses a sense of humor which he has famously employed in movies with Kevin Hart. In contrast, Momoa must solely rely on his brawn irrespective of that aspect being similar to the former.

But it goes without saying that whatever project they both end up agreeing on is bound to be filled with action sequences.

The two of them have built up quite the reputation in the cinema industry as “beasts” of Hollywood and for them to work on a film that doesn’t involve exchanging blows is practically unimaginable.

Ultimately though, we might not be getting to see Momoa and Johnson on screen very soon, but it isn’t a bad idea to keep your hopes up for the foreseeable future.
