Season 15 Trailer Reveals It’s Always Sunny In… Ireland!

For Season 4 of It’s Always Sunny, The Gang will be relocating to Ireland. The newest trailer teases all the shenanigans to come, December 1.

The season will debut with the episode “2020: In Review,” galloping through the numerous events that made the year utterly idiosyncratic.

Kaitlin Olson, who plays Dee, says that it is an episode that people are going to love and hate.

As The Gang is known for, there will be no ethical or moral boundaries in Season 15 as they explore the pandemic and its aftermath in 2021.

Their vacation to Ireland is also very fitting — after all, they do run an Irish bar (albeit unsuccessfully) in South Philadelphia.

Here are a few major takeaways from the trailer: Charlie seems to have found his soulmate in Colm Meaney, who he describes as an “Irish version of me.” Dennis, as usual, has new sex theories for The Gang… which I deem will not end well.

After coming out in Season 12, Mac has been quite confident in his sexuality. But in a queer twist, this season he decides on becoming a Catholic priest.

On the other hand, Frank reveals he used to be in cahoots with the late, scandalous Jeffery Epstein, while Dee hosts an acting workshop.

The rest of the trailer plays out with snippets of chaos and crude humor, signaling that the “sunny” show is indeed back!

When It’s Always Sunny returns in December, it will become the longest-running live-action sitcom of all time, beating the 14-season run of The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet.

But that’s not all — the show has been early renewed for four more seasons which ensures it will run till Season 18 at the very least.

It’s Always Sunny Season 15 will premiere on FXX and will be available stream via FX on Hulu, the very next day.

About It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia is an American sitcom created by Rob McElhenney, who developed it with Glenn Howerton. It is executive produced and primarily written by McElhenney, Howerton, and Charlie Day, all of whom star alongside Kaitlin Olson and Danny DeVito as Mac, Dennis, Charlie, Dee, and Frank.

The series follows the exploits of “The Gang,” a group of friends who run the Irish bar “Paddy’s Pub” in South Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They’re known to be quite amoral and narcissistic with a crude sense of humor.

With its 15th season (and early renewal till season 18), It’s Always Sunny has become the longest-running live-action of all time.
