Uncle’s divine gift is unexpectedly valuable: he can communicate with Spirits. It also explains why he’s so powerful; I’m sure those spirits are already mighty, and he’s just taking their powers and using his gamer senses.
I’m curious whether he brought his translating abilities back to Japan. He could communicate with the Japanese spirits without difficulty, but this would have implied that he understood English, which he does not appear to have.
Takafumi and Fujimiya were simply spectators in this episode, with little to contribute, yet their brief appearances were nevertheless entertaining. Overall, this was a good episode of the show.
Episode 7 Speculations

No, Isekai Ojisan is not on break this week. Episode 7 is set to air as scheduled. No delay has been announced.
Episode 6 Recap
The price the three adventurers get for giving Uncle to the freakshow owner is three bronze coins. And they get 120 bronze coins in exchange for a worn-out scouring pad. Memories come flooding back, and Uncle and Takafumi get nosebleeds.
It is further shown that there are all kinds of creatures in the basement, and Uncle is thrown into one of the empty cells.
As days pass, he starts losing sanity, but he said he kept talking to the ray of light to stay sane. One day, he walks up to the beam and chants a spell. This causes the light ray to be converted into a sword. He breaks out of his cell and frees the other creatures out of pity.
Fujimiya calls it cute when one of them sits on Uncle’s shoulder. It doesn’t take them much time to shift into their monstrous mode, and they assault Uncle and the owner of the freak show.
That’s when Uncle awakens his powers and kills off all the monsters. He then uses them to satisfy his stomach and ironically gives them a funeral.
Takafumi and Fujimiya decide to leave, but Uncle tells them about how he saved Elf from a dragon. The pair got excited and decided to stay. Fujimiya canceled her plans to have fried chicken as dinner as well. The fight was very anti-climactic, and he defeated the dragon within seconds.
When Uncle walks up to Elf, she too mistakes him for an Orc. But she soon snaps out of it. He then shows the two the day when he was frozen in ice. Tsundere and Mabel were sleeping on him, but Uncle was too simple-minded to understand. He then takes them for a treat.
It gets pretty late, and Uncle says that they should get Fujimiya home. But she was hungry, so Uncle treated them both to ramen. He fell short on funds, so Fujimiya covered the rest.

Isekai Ojisan is a manga series by Hotondo Shindeiru. It has been serialized in ComicWalker since 29th June 2018. An anime adaptation by AtelierPontdarc premiered in July 2022.
The manga focuses on Takafumi’s uncle who has been in a comatose state for 17 years but he suddenly wakes up one day and claims that for all this time, he was in an isekai world.
Now Takafumi has to live with an uncle who has magical powers but doesn’t know about the technological advancements of the last two decades.
