Is ‘TenSura’ Manga Ending Soon? When will it end?

Everyone who has been watching anime for a while now is aware of the Isekai (or “In another world”) genre. Each year, you can find a couple of new takes on this popular genre, but most of them do not offer anything new.

I am someone who can usually tell within 5 minutes into an anime if it’s worth my time or not, and I must say that ‘Ten Sura’ didn’t disappoint me at all. Reincarnated as a Slime changed the formula and brought something unique on the table.

Now, a second split-cour season is also scheduled for October 2020.

In the 16th volume, which was released on March 27, it has been revealed that the light novel series will enter its final arc with its 18th volume.

Fuse also showed his interest in producing spinoffs after the current story ends, which in my opinion, was pretty inevitable considering its success when it first came out.

The series garnered over 400 million page views upon its release, and that is a huge number for a light novel.

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, also known as TenSura is a Japanese fantasy light novel series written by Fuse, and illustrated by MitzVah.

It was serialized online between 2013 and 2016 on the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō. It was acquired by Micro Magazine, who published the first light novel volume in 2014. Fifteen volumes have been released as of September 2019.

Satoru Mikami, an average 37-year-old office worker from Tokyo with no girlfriend, was asked for marriage advice by his colleague Tamura. After meeting him and his partner, Mikami is stabbed to death by a passing robber.

Upon making some requests during his death, he is reincarnated in another world as a slime with the ability known as a predator. The skill lets him have the power of any creature he devours. Thus he embarks on his isekai journey as the strongest slime in the history of slimes.
