Season 3 of Apple TV’s See Will Be the Final Chapter

Season 3 of Apple TV’s See is premiering in a few hours at 12 AM PDT, and fans of the show can’t wait to witness the epic saga continue. The future of Baba Voss, his family, and humankind seems to hang in balance as Sibeth, Oloman, and others try to harm them for their own needs.

So far, the show has been quite entertaining. Although it is not Steven Knight’s best work, the narrative, the dystopian backdrop, and the action sequences are pretty engaging. In fact, the Season 3 trailer promises some of the grandest action and war choreography we’ve seen in the show so far.

However, one little detail in the trailer made the fans question if this season was going to be the final one.

The trailer reveals that Season 3 is the final chapter of this post-apocalyptic/period action-drama and that Baba Voss will enter the battle of his lifetime. He thus will fight for his children, family, and the future of humankind in the final season of the show.

Season 2 ended with Baba killing Edo, his younger brother, and leaving his kids with Maghra. This was because he was tired of running and fighting and didn’t want to be a part of ploys and schemes anymore.

While this might seem like a goodbye for him, it is evident from the trailer that his family is not ready to do so yet. With Sibeth killing Paris in the final moments of Season 2, she will look to escape and reclaim her kingdom.

Besides this, Jerlamarel’s son, Oloman, demonstrates the working of an explosive to Edo Voss’ mentor. He goes on to tell how with this device, cities can be destroyed and obliterated within moments.

All this points to the fact that Baba Voss’ job of protecting his family is not yet done. In fact, we see him entering the battlefield in the trailer; this time, even Maghra is stepping into the fight.

While the state’s politics have been a running theme of the show, the overall narrative has always been about the future of humankind. After Maghra was gifted with two sighted children, everyone believed they were the only ones. As it turned out, Jerlamarel had procreated multiple other sighted babies who had grown up to be as ambitious as him.

He wanted to bring humanity into a new world of knowledge and enlightenment, but the problem was that he didn’t include the non-sighted people in this world. In fact, he was arrogant about being the one chosen to make all this happen.

Season 2 reveals that he wasn’t the only sighted child born to non-sighted parents. There was one more in the Trivantian army—General Wren. This means that sight through a slow process of evolution is coming back. Season 3 would most likely decide what the future of Baba Voss, his family, and humanity would look like. We can’t wait to find out.
