PC and Xbox Gamers Will Not Be Able to Play GoW Ragnarok at Launch

Ragnarok is the next installment of the legendary PlayStation video game series God of War. With this title, Santa Monica Studios is all set to end the Norse Saga, which started with the previous installment, and so players are very excited to get their hands on it.

Unfortunately, not all gamers prefer or own a PlayStation console, so they have had to either wait for a PC port or even cracks of the GoW games. Now, with Ragnarok here, gamers worldwide are wondering if this GoW title will follow in the steps of its predecessor and remain a PlayStation exclusive or if it will be coming to Xbox and PC as well.

God of War Ragnarok is not coming to PC and Xbox. It is a PlayStation-exclusive game until a PC port for the same is announced someday in the future.

All of the early God of War games are PlayStation-exclusive and cannot be played on PC and Xbox, but its latest Norse reboot, God of War (2018), was eventually made available on PC as well.

Considering this trend, a PC port of God of War Ragnarok in the near future is very likely. However, the same cannot be said for an Xbox port.

Officially, none of the God of War titles have been released for Xbox systems. God of War (2018) might have been playable on Xbox via GeForce Now, a streaming service from Nvidia. However, GFN recently removed it.

Before it departed GeForce Now, players who had access to God of War (2018) could still play it on Xbox. However, new players won’t be able to do so. This seems to be the only instance in which a God of War game has been made Xbox-compatible.
