Welcome To Demon School! Iruma-kun Season 2, Episode 21, titled “The One Who Rules Over the Netherworld,” was released this week.

So far, we saw that Ameri’s dad arrived at Clara’s place to inform Iruma that he has placed restraining orders against reporters for him. Later, Ameri mustered up the courage to ask Iruma out on a date, but Iruma beat her to it. 

I’m glad Iruma got to have a little romance in his life before resuming school. Sullivan, being the loving grandpa he is, took Iruma shopping to prepare him for the start of the new term. During this trip, Iruma surprised him by asking a very unusual question.

Episode 22 Speculations and Discussions

Season 2 of Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun has come to an end after episode 21.

Nonetheless, since the studio has already announced that the anime will get a third season, we have nothing to worry about. 

From the preview at the end of episode 21, we can say that Iruma and the others are going to get major power-ups. 

Soon Iruma will gain a flair for archery, and I can’t wait for the story to unravel and see how Iruma gains this new skill and becomes Daleth rank.

Episode 22 of the Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun season 2 anime will be released on Wednesday, Apr 03, 2024. The episode title or preview has not been shown.

Recap of Episode 21

Episode 21, titled “The One Who Rules Over the Netherworld,” starts with Iruma finally finishing the double homework given to him by Kalego.

Back in Walter Park, Kalego made a deal with the students saying that the group that has the most fun would be rewarded, whereas the group that loses would be given double homework for the holidays. 

Sullivan comes to the conclusion that everyone had a lot of fun, so everyone’s a winner. 

Kalego agreed to treat them without any hesitation, but he claimed that if everyone is a winner, then everyone is a loser too and gives everyone double homework.

Back to the present, Iruma realizes that he has to prepare for the start of the new terminus. 

Sullivan excitedly arrives and arranges to take Iruma shopping for his new term. 

Since Iruma is a celebrity after saving Walter Park, Sullivan gives him glasses that conceal his presence. 

During his trip, he realizes that everyone respects Sullivan a lot and that the people want him to become the next Demon King. 

Towards the evening, after all the shopping is completed, Iruma randomly asks Sullivan how to become the Demon King. 

This question catches Sullivan off guard, which makes him recollect his memories back when he served the previous Demon King. 

He then tells Iruma that the Demon King is not someone who has complete control over the Netherworld. The Demon King is the Netherworld.

The episode ends with Sullivan telling him that the Netherworld always turns out based on the Demon King’s personality, making Iruma wonder how it would turn out if he becomes the Demon King.

Mairimashita! Iruma-Kun is a Japanese manga series written by Osamu Nishi. It began its serialization in March 2017 in Akita Shoten’s shōnen magazine Weekly Shōnen Champion. Currently, the manga consists of fifteen volumes in the tankōbon format.

Iruma Suzuki is a fourteen-year-old kid who is overburdened with responsibilities due to the complacency of his parents.

One day, he discovers that his parents have sold his soul to a demon Lord Sullivan who brings him to the demon world.

Lord Sullivan brings him to the demon world to act as his grandson but by covering up his true identity as a human. This proves to be hard as challenges and adventures test Iruma within the demon world.
