A penguin-like monster attacked the royal capital in episode 8 of In the Land of Leadale titled “ A Battle, A Victory, A Conversation, and Information.”
Cayna easily defeats the monster that was summoned by accident, as expected. The anime is a little slow with its progression but does keep us entertained as it introduces new characters and quests, with a new adventure every other episode.
Cayna met Shining Saber and Cohral in this episode, sharing some vital information. They were happy to find another player but were shocked to know the massive difference between their power levels. Cayna gets ready for a new adventure, but before that, she comes back to her roots and meets an old friend.

Episode 9 Speculations
Cayna is off to her next adventure in episode 9 of In the Land of Leadale titled “Sewing, Mermaids, Misunderstandings, and Zombies.”
From what we see in the preview, Cayna will be in dangerous situations. We see her diving underwater, maybe to help a mermaid. What came as a surprise was Cayna’s red face. It will be the first time we will see her blush like that. What led to that blush is surely going to be interesting to see.
Cayna seems to have gone to a dark and mysterious place, possibly in the search for the palace of Dragon King. We also see Shining Saber in the preview, who will perhaps help her in this adventure. Let’s see what awaits the fans in the next episode.

Episode 8 Recap
Cayna is enjoying her walk in a vast field with Mye and Lonti when the little fairy suddenly pulls her hair. She wants Cayna to return to the royal capital because she senses some danger. Cayna immediately summons Therwolf and returns with Mye and Lonti.
At the capital, the monster is violently attacking the town. Shining Saber immediately dispatches his soldiers to go and save the people. He decides to attack the monster, and Cohral agrees to assist him.
Mei-Mei and Lopus meet Skargo and Kartaz telling them that the academy and children are safe. Mei-Mei wants to pull the monster’s attention towards themselves, but Skargo stops her telling her that this will endanger the castle.
Cohral and Saber attack the monster with their weapon skills. The monster fails to keep his balance and falls into the river but not before sending both of them flying in the sky.
Both are badly injured, with Cohral left with only 20% of his HP. He claims that the monster is above level 400, and it will be difficult to defeat him alone.
As they get ready to attack it again, they see a rock flying towards the monster, hitting him, followed by a lightning strike that obliterates the monster. It is Cayna who defeats it, wondering who summoned an event monster. They visit the place where the monster was summoned, and Cayna tells them to seal the area.
Mye and Lonti return to their respective places. Skarrgo gives Cayna the stone which fell from the monster when it was defeated. She recognizes it as Orichalcum. Skargo tells her about Cohral and that he is the one who told him to give the stone to Cayna. Cayna decides to make a weapon from it as a gift.
Cohral tells her that he is a player and he, with the other player, wants to meet her in private. They decide to meet at the colosseum at noon. The next day, they meet at the designated place.
Shining Saber introduces himself, telling her that he is the leader of Knights in Felskeilo and has a power level of 427. He also tells her that he used to be the sub-leader of the SilverMoon Horsemen Guild.
She immediately recognizes the guild telling him that it was Kyotaro’s guild. Saber is shocked to hear the leader’s name and asks where she is from. She replies that she is from Cream Cheese. They are shocked to know that she is the SIlver Ring Witch.
She gets angry because she doesn’t like that name and pulls out an Arcal Staff to warn them not to call her that again. She then gives Cohral the weapon she promised. It is a huge sword that is revealed to be a Valhalla; the strongest sword one can get.
She introduces the fairy to them, telling them that it is a gift from Opuskettenshultheimer, Leadale’s Agaido Kongming. Cohral recognizes that man as the one who dragged him to a river and killed him.
They later accept each other’s friend requests. Cayna asks them whether they know something about the Guardian Towers.
Cohral has some information, but he wants to learn the recovery magic in return for the info. He tells her about a palace near a fishing town in the middle of a river. She guesses that it might be Liothek’s place. They thank each other and return to their town.
Back at the capital, she tells Mei-Mei that she is going to look for the palace of the Dragon King. She tells her that she will leave with the group of knights from Felskeilo and Helspier, who are joining hands to fight the bandits. Mei-Mei asks Cayna to settle down somewhere. She cannot keep wandering around all the time.
Cayna starts to think about it and finds that there is no better place than the village she woke up in. She then goes to the guardian, gives her some MP, and asks what happened 200 years ago. It tells her that nothing happened other than the masters leaving their guardians.
She returns to the village where she wakes up and meets Lytt again—reuniting them after a long while.
