Tenjou finds himself a new best friend to train and have fun with in episode 5 of I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in The Real World, Too, titled “New Family.”
As he ventures deeper into the dangerous forest, he runs into a little puppy being bullied and nearly killed by a vast ogre beyond his level. Unable to ignore the situation, Tenjou goes in and manages to save the dog and adopts him soon after that.
Taking him back home, he spends the day searching around for supplies and food for the dog, taking it on multiple walks and caring for him. He also runs into Kaori and Miu, a dangerous duo, to let them meet.

1. Episode 6 Speculation:
Venturing through the dark forest much further than he could ever have gone by himself, Tenjou and Night find themselves in a cave with a bunch of corpses and a bloody book that was written by the Sage himself and marked the start of a new adventure.
The book may not be decipherable by Tenjou or contain some magic since it was found in a cave full of corpses. However, it could also be that it is being guarded by something lying in wait and anticipating the opportunity to attack.

3. Recap of Episode 5:
Tenjou prepares to go exploring and puts on his armor, and recalls the words of the royal guard, one warning him of the forest’s danger. However, he continues to outclass every single monster he encounters quickly and is unable to find something worth a challenge.
He runs into a colossal monster stomping on a little puppy but notices its humongous stats that are way higher than he expected. He gathers all his courage and attacks it but is surprised to find that it immediately gets killed in one tap due to how overpowered the weapons of Sage are.
The little animal is super happy with Tenjou and joins him home, being named Night. I enjoy playing and grooming the puppy, and he soon has to leave for school. He asks around about pet shops and can’t stop thinking about ways to care for his new friend.
Kaede offers to join him at the pet shop and show him where it is; he buys a bunch of stuff for Night and brings it back home, and shows it to his little puppy. He even takes it to the dog park, where he becomes extremely popular and runs into Kaori.
He introduces Night to Kaori, who immediately gets along with the puppy and plays with it. Not only is Kaori at the same park, but Miu also walks in at the same time, and Tenjou introduces Kaori to her and vice versa, as well as his new puppy.
Kaori is completely distressed by seeing the chemistry between them both, but Tenjou reassures her but is interrupted by a running purse-snatcher. He orders Night to retrieve the purse, and he brings back the whole thief himself, who Tenjou quickly incapacitates and calls the police on.
Tenjou works on his teamwork with Night in the forest to take on even more powerful legendary beasts with incredible magic skills. He gets rare loot and even a bath summoner that fits within a box, which he uses to relax with his puppy at Night back home.
Venturing deeper into the forest, they find an opening in the ground leading to a large hideout filled with corpses and a bloody book written by the Sage himself.
4. About I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World
I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in The Real World, Too (also known as IseLeve) is a light novel series by Miku and Rein Kuwashima, first published in 2018 by Fujimi Shobo. A manga adaptation by ASCII Media Works is also being serialized since 2019.
The series focuses on Yuuya, a boy who has been brutally bullied his whole life. His saving grace comes when he discovers an isekai door and some priceless artifacts, one of which is a portal that allows him to travel back to his home world.
As he uses these items, his body changes for the better, and he receives crazy cheat skills that even apply to the real world.
