How to Unlock Engineer Archetype: Finding the Alien Device – Remnant 2

One of the many secret classes, known as Archetypes in Remnant 2, the Engineer is a heavy weapons specialist that players can unlock. This requires you to go to a place where you must stay on your toes at all times, since your fate is pretty much sealed should you make a wrong move.

The Engineer Archetype is unlocked by finding an item called the Alien Device on N’Erud’s Eon Vault or Timeless Horizon maps in Remnant 2. To find the Alien Device, you need to explore the perimeter Eon Vault or Timeless Horizon and look for a dead body of an engineer.

Here’s how to get the Alien Device from one of these areas:

  1. First off, explore the perimeter of the Eon Vault or Timeless Horizon until you come across a gap between a ledge and a cluster of spires.
  • As you head through the gap, your character will start vomiting. Keep running right to come across a ledge.
  • Jump to the ledge to find a dead body of an engineer. Take the Technician Armor Set off the dead body.
