How to solve the Chamber of Insight puzzle? Baldur’s Gate 3

The Chamber of Insight presents you with a challenge: to find out who is an “enemy of the city” between three ghosts, as stated by the Statue of Balduran. The puzzle requires you to figure out who the traitor is by gaining insight on him.

To solve the Chamber of Insight puzzle:

Interact with the Statue of Balduran to reveal the three ghosts: Suelto, Amaps and Stedd.

Next, visit a library nearby to gain insight on these ghosts as you cannot talk to them.

Find out that the books are flying inside the library.

Throw an object from your inventory or a book to bring them down.

It is recommended to not use a weapon as it could destroy the required book forever.

How to solve the Chamber of Insight puzzle? Baldur's Gate 3 — Suelto, the Traitor

Read the books which state that Suelto is the traitor, who was exiled and became an “enemy of the city.”

Return to the Statue of Balduran and attack Suelto with a spell or physically

This marks the end of the puzzle. It is possible to just guess that Suelto is the traitor and the solution to the puzzle without gaining any insight from the library.

On another note, a companion such as Karlach could be useful to bring the books down since her Athletic will be strong enough to do so.
