Assassin’s Creed games have been known for having robust customization and gear choices. Assassin’s Creed Mirage, while not having as much depth in its customization, still provides players with a decent range of options to choose from. Coming to the best outfit in the game, the crown goes to the Milad’s Outfit, which is a part of the ISU Armor Set.
The Milad’s Outfit is located within a chamber known as the Hidden Place, under the Northern Oasis, west of Baghdad in Assassin’s Creed Mirage. The outfit is unlocked by collecting five Mysterious Shards and completing Nehal’s side quest called ‘The Calling’.
There are 10 Mysterious Shards in total which you need to collect to unlock the entire Legebdary ISU Armor Set, which includes Milad’s Outfit as well as The Samsaama Dagger and the The Shamshir-e Zomorrodnegar Sword.
Here’s how to complete ‘The Calling’ Quest in Assassin’s Creed Mirage:
1. Collecting The Mysterious Shards
The Mysterious Shards are scattered across the entirety of Baghdad. You can find 2 Mysterious Shards in the following districts – Harbiyah, Abbasiyah, Round City, Wilderness, and Karkh. Here are all the locations where you can find the shards:
Shard | District | Location |
Mysterious Shard #1 | Round City | Quadrangle of the Persians |
Mysterious Shard #2 | Round City | Administrative District |
Mysterious Shard #3 | Round City | Commander’s District |
Mysterious Shard #4 | Karkh | Confiscation Warehouse |
Mysterious Shard #5 | Karkh | The Bazaar |
Mysterious Shard #6 | Karkh | Fief of Rayasanah |
Mysterious Shard #7 | Abbasiyah | Yasiriyah |
Mysterious Shard #8 | Harbiyah | Khuld |
Mysterious Shard #9 | Wilderness | Anbar |
Mysterious Shard #10 | Wilderness | Jarjaray |
The Mysterious Shards are indicated with a golden Shard icon on the map. The icon shows up on the map only after doing the follow:
- Completing Basim’s first assasination, killing Al-Ghul at the Caravanserai
- Starting ‘The Calling’ quest by meeting Nehar at Anbar
- Synchronizing the districts mentioned above.
2. How to collect Mysterious Shards?
The Mysterious Shards are carried by the Members of the Order, which are certain NPCs roaming around in the five districts mentioned above. Hence, the location for each Mysterious Shard may vary a tiny bit.
All you have to do is pickpocket these members and assassinate them to gain access to the Mysterious Shards. You can mark these targets with the help of Enkidu and Eagle Vision. Once you’re done collecting all the Shards, you need to find the Hidden Place.
3. Finding the Hidden Place
The Hidden Place will be located at an Oasis to the North of Araquf Dunes, at the most Southernmost side of the map. Zoom in at the Oasis, which displays the name as Northern Oasis.
Swim to the center of the water at the Oasis, then dive down below to the huge underwater tunnel. Keep going down until you come across a tunnel on the left. Follow the tunnel until you can spot a surface from underwater.
Now, what you need to do is climb up the surface and follow the pathway ahead towards a collapsed pillar. Head left from here and follow the path ahead to enter a crack in the wall and finally reach the Hidden Place containing the ISU Armor Set, filled with chests.
4. Dispel the Mysterious Shards to Unlock Milad’s Outfit and the Weapons
Inside the room will be three pillars with slots for the Mysterious Shards. The entire ISU Armor Set will cost the following:
- Five Mysterious Shards to unlock the Milad Armor.
- Three Mysterious Shards to unlock the sword.
- Two Mysterious Shards to unlock the dagger.
This marks the end of Nehal’s quest ‘The Calling’.
5. Rewards for Completing ‘The Calling’
Here are the rewards you get for completing ‘The Calling’ side quest:
I. Milad’s Outfit

6. About Assassin’s Creed Mirage
Assassin’s Creed Mirage is an action-adventure game developed by Ubisoft Bordeaux and published by Ubisoft. The game is the thirteenth primary installment in the Assassin’s Creed series and the successor to 2020’s Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. While its historical timeframe precedes that of Valhalla, its modern-day framing story succeeds Valhalla’s own.
Set in 9th-century Baghdad during the Islamic Golden Age—in particular during the Anarchy at Samarra—the story follows Basim Ibn Ishaq (a character first introduced in Valhalla), a street thief who joins the Hidden Ones to fight for peace and liberty against the Order of the Ancients,[b] who desire peace through control. The main narrative focuses on Basim’s internal struggle between his duties as a Hidden One and his desire to uncover his mysterious past.
