How to Find All the Muspelheim Seeds in God of War Ragnarok: Easy Guide

Obtaining the Muspelheim seeds will get you access to Muspelheim in the main story of the game. Here’s a guide on how and where to find all of them.

Two locations in Svartalfheim contain the Muspelheim seeds, including legendary chests in the Bay of Bounty to the north of Nidavellir. One of the broken realm seeds may be found early on, but the other requires special equipment from God of War Ragnarok, which we’ll discuss in greater detail below.

The Muspelheim Crucible, a specific area of the realm that serves as a combat challenge course with exceptional rewards, can be accessed by finding both seeds.

The two God of War Ragnarok Muspelheim Seed halves can be discovered, albeit they are not near to one another. You can find them in the Bay of Bounty region to the north of Svartalfheim.

First Muspelheim Seed Location

The first Muspelheim Seed Half is located on the West side of the Bay, just North of Modvitnir’s Rig. It is most likely to be discovered when you are in service of Asgard Favor, just after the God of War Ragnarok waterwheel block challenge.

Reach a platform with some Wild Wretches and a huge crane in front of you by climbing the wooden constructions and scaffolding. The first half of the unique Yggdrasil Seed to Muspelheim is located in the Legendary Chest, which is clearly visible.

Second Muspelheim Seed Location

You won’t be able to get the second Muspelheim Seed Half until after you’ve won the campaign and used the Draupnir Spear. Dock your boat at Dragon Beach on the East side of the Bay. Utilize the hanging chain to scale the Northern scaffolding, then utilize Draupnir in the wind hole to create a ledge from which to ascend. From here, move inland and turn north at the statue to enter the Alberich Hollow cave network. Use the Fire Bomb dispenser nearby to detonate the ragged gold material surrounding the legendary chest on the right so you can access the chest for the second Seed half.

How to Get to Muspelheim

Once you acquire both pieces of the Seed, go to any Mystic Gateway to enter Muspelheim Crucible. You can still access the Crucible, the gauntlet, and its unique rewards even though Muspelheim as a whole is not accessible. Reaching a specific milestone in the main campaign, around two-thirds of the way through the game, is a requirement for accessing additional regions of the realm.

How to Get all God of War Ragnarok Realm Seeds

All God of War Ragnarok Realm Seeds, with the exception of the Muspelheim Seed Halves, are given to the player at significant points in the campaign. The only area that requires an optional unlock is Muspelheim’s Crucible. So, after you locate the two halves of the World Seed in Svartalfheim, it won’t be long before you have access to every realm.
