Crosshair Settings Explained

Accuracy

This will change the size of your crosshair depending on your aim accuracy. Most players prefer to turn it off since it can be distracting in the middle of a match.

Color

The color of your crosshair is extremely important. A contrasting color will be easy to spot whereas a different color might get lost in the backdrop.

Thickness

The thickness of your crosshair totally depends on your preference. It can range from 0 to 100.

Crosshair Length

Similar to the crosshair thickness, this setting is also up to the player’s taste. A safe bet is to go somewhere between 5-15.

Center Gap

Center gap determines the gap between the crosshair reticles. Usually, players have different center gaps for different Heroes. For Heroes like Tracer and Soldier, the center gap is kept small whereas for tanks like Zarya and Reaper, it is much wider.

Opacity and Outline Opacity

These settings control the transparency of your crosshair.

Dot size and Dot opacity

The crosshair dot can be a focal point of your aim. However, there are some players who do not like a dot at the center of their crosshair.

Scale with resolution

This setting will ensure that your in-game resolution is in accordance with your monitor resolution.
