1. How to start Spy in the Jungle Gig?

To start the Spy in the Jungle Gig in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, players need to do the Get It Together main quest, then head to the southernmost part of Dogtown. Once there, Mr. Hands will call V and offer a job to help two Brazilian Intelligence agents to find Mark Bana.

The Brazilian Intelligence agents, Ana and Steven, will be located in Room 203 of the Paradise Hotel. You can easily reach there by following your in-game waypoint. They will give you information about the target, Mark Bana, and that’s where the Gig begins.

2. Head to Organitopia Museum

The agents will explain that Mark Bana has been missing for years and his biomonitor is pinging from Organitopia, an old natural history museum in Terra Cognita, where he was last seen. Following the in-game waypoint, head there.

Your mission tracker will lead you outside of the museum, to the side of a huge building that you need to travel halfway up. An elevator is located at the base of this building. Access the elevator and select Level 3, Terra Cognita.

3. Defeat the Scavs

Once you’re at Level 3, the mission marker will update, giving you new objectives. At the top of the elevator will be present Scavs, whom you need to defeat. You can either take a stealthy approach to this or just go with guns blazing.

Here, you’ll also find a container with a Tier Four Power SMG and a Carrying Capacity Shard that permanently increases the weight you can carry by two. Keep an eye out on a flare on the left side of the rooftop, where the container is located.

After defeating the Scavs, you’ll need to find a way inside the museum.

4. Finding a Way Inside the Museum

Continue towards the museum and you’ll come across a hole in a cement wall. From there, turn left since there’s going to be an inaccessible door to the right. On the left, you’ll find faulty shutters which can be force opened.

Force open the shutters, then turn right to jack into the control panel. Once you do that, Bana will contact you and ask you to head to the main museum hall. The door, which was previously inaccessible, will now be accessible, located to the right of the hole in the wall.

5. Head to the Main Museum Hall

The main museum hall is basically a neon jungle, hence the name of the Gig. Bana’s biomonitor is apparently located in the jungle section of the museum. Defeat the Scavs in the first jungle room and head to the end of it. Bana will contact you again.

He’ll tell you to meet him in the room upstairs.

6. Defeating Ribakov

As you enter the next room to meet Bana, he’ll warn you about an elite Russian operative named Boris Ribakov. You’ll notice a flight of stairs leading to Bana in this room. As soon as you try to open the door, Ribakov will attack you.

All you need to do to defeat Ribakov is to follow where he’s going, since he will constantly disappear into the jungle and attack from a new angle and create holographic mirror images. Just make sure that you don’t die during this fight. Watch out for his attack drones as well.

After defeating Ribakov, loot his body to obtain tier four Iconic Smart SMG called Pizdets along with a log of his most recent assignment, which is to track down and terminate someone named Katya Karelina in the Organitopia Museum.

7. Meet Mark Bana Upstairs

Continue to the room upstairs to meet Mark Bana. As you enter the room, you’ll discover that Bana is actually dead and the one was impersonating him is none other than Katya Karelina, Ribakov’s most recent assignment. You’ll also get to know that Katya is one of the Russian operatives behind the death of Bana.

Sparing Katya is the way to go in Spy of the Jungle Gig as you’ll get access to the following:

  • Money For Nothing mission
  • Coordinates to Katya’s stash
  • A tier four BD Wreath that increases quickhack speed by 8.5 percent.
  • 8,500 eddies

Killing Katya will grant you nothing so the best course of action will be to spare her life.

9. Should you give Bana’s biomonitor to Ana or destroy it?

Head back to Ana and Steven after deciding Katya’s fate. On the way there, Steve will call you and beg V to not give the biomonitor to Ana as it’ll get them both killed. Ana, on the other hand, wants to expose everything to the media and doesn’t care if she lives or dies.

You’ll get two choices here:

  • If you give Ana the biomonitor, you will receive 6,000 eddies.
  • If you destroy the biomonitor, you will receive 4,000 eddies.

Giving the biomonitor to Ana is the best choice to go with here, as it rewards you with more eddies and also because it is the right thing to do.
