In Episode 4, Diablo guides Lumachina, Rem, and Shera to his self-made dungeon, where they are hoping to find the cure for the Death Knell disease.
Since he is well aware of the dungeon’s silly traps and lame rules, he easily takes the team right through them. The map keeps on changing after every 10 minutes, so he blasts through the walls.
Diablo defeats a bunch of monsters who came in his way. They had to cross a stream of lava through a fragile wooden bridge, which breaks more and more with each wrong answer to the game master.
Then, they face a huge gang of White Jagers (Gorilla-type creatures), before whom they had to sing and dance to go past these barbarous creatures without any hassle.
Soon afterward, they face a flying worm and a trap worm at a very vulnerable position (at the edge of a cliff). Thanks to Diablo’s immense power, he deals with them quite easily.
It is revealed that Gewalt was the one who summoned these creatures. He shows up before everyone and tries to kidnap the Head Priest, Lumachina.
Norn grabs Gewalt tightly and jumps together into the dangerous river. Can Diablo save her from drowning? We have to wait for the next episode to know it for sure.
