Hostile Takeovers are PvP endgame World Events where players compete with each other to win a Manufactory that will generate Pieces of Eight as rewards in Skull & Bones. In a Hostile Takeover, players must capture an outpost with a production chain and race against other players.

The players with the most damage to the Manufactory will win the Hostile Takeover. Once done, the outpost will start generating Pieces of Eight, and all the loot will be up for grabs.

Hostile Takeovers are unlocked once players reach the Kingpin Infamy Rank. Upon reaching this rank, Yanita Nara will send a message from Saint-Anne about a short tutorial in The Helm that introduces Hostile Takeovers.

Once the tutorial is complete, Hostile Takeovers will unlock, and you can compete with players to start your Pirate Empire.

3. How to do Hostile Takeovers in Skull & Bones?

Hostile Takeover events appear every 30 minutes and can be displayed on the Helm map. At the bottom of the map, it shows the time left for the next Hostile Takeover event. Once the timer ends, the event appears on the map, indicated by a red crown marker.

There are multiple Hostile Takeovers to choose from. During the match, watch the progress bar as it shows how much the zone has been captured. Stay in the target area and sink enemy ships along with destroying the buildings to advance the Takeover’s progress. The event comes to a halt after the progress bar reaches 100 percent.
