How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom is gearing up for its second cour, and what’s better than some silly comedy between all the serious talks? While Kazuya is busy making the strongest empire, a few surprises are in store for him.
The first season showed us rapid progress in the anime’s storyline as Kazuya used his quick decision-making skills to raise Elfreiden from the verge of ruin. In the second season, we will get to have a bit more fun.
How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom anime will premiere its second part on January 8, 2022. A new trailer has just been revealed for the upcoming cour:
The trailer shows Jeanne Euphoria approaching Kazuya for help. Since the kingdom of Amidonia is facing threats of civil war and invasion by external forces, it needs Elfreiden’s power to be stabilized.
From the gifts laid out to Kazuya pops out Roroa, the princess of Amidonia. She directly asks Kazuya if he wants her or not, which stuns everyone in the room. Will she succeed in wooing her crush?
The opening theme song, “REAL-EYES” by Inori Minase, is also previewed in the trailer.
A new visual has also been revealed, which shows the main characters of part 2:
Not only Souma and Liscia from the Elfreiden kingdom but also Maria and Jeanne from the Gran Chaos Empire are shown in the visual. Roroa Amidonia is also in the spotlight, and I guess we’ll know more about her background soon.
Funimation is streaming the How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom’s first part and might stream the second part as well.
Roroa’s sudden confession might have shaken up Kazuya. Will he fall for her in the long run?
He must maintain friendly relations with Amidonia, so he needs to treat their princess right. I am looking forward to how our clever protagonist deals with this double-edged situation.

How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom is a light novel series by Dojyomaru and Fuyuyuki. It was adapted into a manga in July 2017 and is inspiring an anime that will release in July 2021.
Kazuya Souma is summoned to another world as a hero who needs to save the day or rather an entire kingdom. He is handed over the crown of Elfreiden.
The kingdom is failing politically and economically. Souma, with his intellect and rational thinking, starts to rebuild the nation bit by bit from the inside out.
His plans are realistic and do not include the hassles of war. How will this new administrative order turn out?
