We see Tsubasa’s grandmother for the first time. Even though she doesn’t stick out as anything special at first, we soon realize that she is a lady with aristocratic mannerisms. This explains why Tsubasa could not introduce Fuyuki as his friend. To a lady like that, Fuyuki’s wild nature may be a bit too much to accept. She seemed to accept her as his friend for the time being, seeing that Tsubasa was happy, but she might create some obstacles down the line.
Another notable thing in this episode was that a new heroine was introduced. As the new semester at school starts and students receive their seating arrangements, Tsubasa sighs with relief, seeing that Fuyuki is right next to him. However, our new heroine, Sayuri Akino, is on the other side. Right now, we can only wonder about what the future has in store for these two.

Now that Tsubasa is slowly settling down in his new home, he is getting used to the cold in Kitami. On one regular school day, he notices a poster about the Kitami winter festival. Fuyuki catches him staring at it and proposes they should go together.
The following weekend, the two decide to meet at the railway station and head to the festival grounds together. On his way, Tsubasa seemed really nervous since it was his first time going out with a girl alone. He shakes off this nervousness for the time being, but his mind gets blank right after meeting Fuyuki and seeing how cute she is.
The two then head to the festival, and right after entering, Tsubasa gets really excited about everything. Seeing him like this makes Fuyuki really happy, too.

A few days later, during lunchtime at school, Fuyuki rushes over to Tsubasa’s seat with the instant noodle kit she brought. She tells him that after seeing him enjoy the food at the festival, she wants him to try these too. The two share their lunches, and of course, it goes without saying Tsubasa liked the noodles.
After lunch, while talking to Fuyuki, Tsubasa says that eating cup noodles and shopping at a convenience store are all new experiences for him. Hearing this, a shocked Fuyuki immediately asks him whether he is a spoiled rich kid. Tsubasa replies that his parents aren’t exceptionally rich, but Fuyuki demands to visit his house to confirm this by herself.
On their way to his home, Fuyuki spots a small igloo on the side of the road. She drags Tsubasa inside it after she enters herself. As expected, the igloo was too cramped for the two of them. This whole thing was witnessed by Tsubasa’s grandmother, who totally misunderstood the situation.
As a cover-up, he introduced Fuyuki as her classmate, not a friend. She got a bit upset, but instead of saying anything, she helped his grandmother carry the bags to his home. Once they reached home, Tsubasa’s grandma invited her inside for tea. Even though she was a bit doubtful about her at first, seeing how happy Tsubasa got while she was around, she decided to trust that smile.
