The first episode of Hijack, titled “Final Call”, introduces us to the main characters and sets up the premise of the series. The series begins when Sam Nelson boards a flight from Dubai to London, hoping to reunite with his ex-wife Marsha and his daughter Priya.

However, his flight is hijacked by a group of five terrorists led by Stuart, who demand the release of their leader Rasheed from the Indian authorities.

The team includes Alice, an air traffic controller who guides the plane; Zahra, a counter-terrorism agent who interrogates Rasheed; Daniel, a detective who investigates the hijackers’ backgrounds; and Robin, the captain of the plane who tries to maintain control.

The episode ends with a cliffhanger, as Sam convinces Stuart to let him talk to Rasheed on the phone, hoping to persuade him to call off the hijacking. However, Rasheed recognizes Sam’s voice and reveals that he knows him from their past. Sam is shocked and confused by this revelation, while Stuart becomes suspicious of his motives.

The ending of the first episode of Hijack leaves us with a major twist and a lot of questions. Sam Nelson, who has been trying to negotiate with the terrorists who have hijacked his flight, gets to speak to their leader Rasheed on the phone.

He decides to keep an eye on Sam and not trust him anymore.
