Hero Classroom Episode 9 Release Date, Speculation, Watch Online

Blade meets a familiar Guardian in episode 8 of Hero Classroom titled “Less Than a Human.”

Over the last couple of days, Blade had been illegally trespassing the Royal Library underground multiple times. Whenever he went there, he had to destroy the Guardian robot to access the books. Now, while he wanders the school, the robot comes for him.

It takes on a human form and fights Blade, eventually making him admit defeat. However, after completing her objective, the Mother Computer terminates the connection and starts a self-destruct timer.

Blade has acquired one more friend in the Academy, a Guardian named Iona. She will likely be hanging around Sophie since they bonded a lot while fighting over Blade. Moreover, since she is an android, her behavior is also similar.

The next episode may continue Blade’s investigations on Asmodeus. We may also see the Mother Computer that controls all the Guardians since Blade has found the headquarters that contains it.

3. Recap of Episode 8

Anna finds a robot in the Academy that has been roaming around, projecting a hologram of Blade. They decide to take it to the Colosseum and show it to Blade. Immediately upon seeing the robot, Blade casts Dragon Eater and destroys it.

After analyzing his psyche, the robot transforms into a human girl, and Blade fires some more Dragon Eaters at it. The Guardian reveals that it’s been given an order to eradicate Blade but is currently in observation mode to find some data.

They all discuss tips to help the robot, Iona, win against Blade. They modify her body to bring her soul into her heart, which makes her vulnerable to destruction. They all know that Blade would never knowingly kill her and thus goes easy during the battle.

Blade eventually admits defeat, and the crowd cheers for Iona. She joins them for lunch later and has lost all motivation since her order is complete. After a series of events, her Mother’s Computer has disowned her, so she has no master at the moment.

Iona asks Blade to be her master, and he eventually complies. Sophie feels icky about having Iona around because they are too similar. They begin having a series of battles to decide who’s more deserving of Blade. He refuses to get involved and constantly tells them to stop fighting.

After much fighting, they eventually start getting more attached to each other. By the time morning comes, Iona and Sophie become good friends. They discover a self-destruct timer within Iona that goes off in twenty hours, and she decides to go far away.

The counter runs out, but she doesn’t explode, and Blade emerges from the ground. He had visited the Mother Computer and asked her to stop the self-destruction command.

Hero Classroom also known as Classroom of Heroes is a light novel series written by Shin Araki and illustrated by Haruyuki Morisawa, first published in Shueisha’s seinen manga magazine Ultra Jump between February and August 2015. A manga adaptation by Koara Kishida has been serialized since 2016 via Square Enix’s Monthly Shonen Gangan.

The series focuses on Blade, a relaxed transfer student who explore Rosewood Academy in an attempt to make friends. He meets Arnest Fleming, the top student at the academy yet still rivaled in strength by the newbie student Blade.
