Gabimaru faces memory loss in episode 13 of Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku, titled “Dreams and Reality.”

Sagiri, Yuzuriha, Senta, Shion, and Nurugai together successfully defeat Mu Dan. It was a tough battle that took more than half of the episode’s runtime. It was a fierce fight, but they finally won. 

While resting, a new twist comes up that raises the question of whether Gabimaru’s wife actually exists or whether it is all an illusion. At the same time, Gabimaru seems to have lost his memory and fails to recall anything that connects him to where he is.

1. Episode 14 Speculations

We won’t be getting episode 14 of the anime as it has ended its run. However, there is no need to worry, as the second season of the anime has been officially announced. 

We don’t have the release date yet, but it won’t be released before next year. The anime will get even more insane from the next season onwards. They all have realized a way to fight against Tensen. 

It will take a while for Gabimaru to get his memory back. It will make up for some heart-touching and emotional moments. We will dig deeper into the characters and find out more about their history. I can’t wait for the second season.

3. Episode 13 Recap

As Mu Dan transforms into a giant flower and launches an attack on Sagiri and Yuzuriha, Shion shows up at the right time to cut off the attack. He tells Nurugai to cut down the flowers from Senta’s face. 

There is nothing that can be done to save Senta. Yuzuriha is about to give him a potion, but Mu Dan’s attacks force them to change place and divert their attention towards the enemy. 

Shion does some good damage to Mu Dan, but he, too, gets scratched by one of the tentacles, causing flowers to grow on him. He cuts them off, seriously injuring himself in the process. 

Sagiri and Nurugai enter the battlefield to help Shion. Sagiri tells him about Tensen’s tendon, attacking which it can die. She tells him to attack from behind while the two will distract the enemy from the front. 

They begin their attack. Despite losing a lot of blood, Shion continues to go on. Sagiri also seems to be at her limit, but they still go on. Slowly, the rate of regeneration starts reducing at a great pace. 

Shion gets more fierce as he continues losing blood. He is prepared to die even if he has to. Finally, he reaches the center but isn’t sure whether the part is the tendon. 

Senta, using all his strength, tells Shion to attack the ovule of the flower. With this, Tensen finally comes to rest. 

Senta is about to die. Yuzuriha tells him to leave all his pride and honor and think about the things he loves the most. She hugs him gently and lets him leave the world peacefully. 

He is happy to die in the arms of the person he admires the most. Sagiri swears that she won’t let anyone die anymore. Gabimaru wakes up and finds himself lost. 

Sagiri and her band find a room and some clothes in it. They discuss the elixir of life. Sagiri still feels it exists, but Yuzuriha tells her that the image Gabimaru saw of his chief might be an illusion. 

She goes on to say that maybe his wife doesn’t exist, and it is all just an illusion created in his head so that he can complete this difficult vision. Meanwhile, Gabimaru doesn’t remember anything apart from his name. 

He plans on escaping the situation by killing Mei, Fuchi, and Tamiya. Mei notices that something is wrong with Gabimaru’s Tao in his head region. Shion meets Saigir, who seems to be sad about Gabimaru’s wife being an illusion. 

She knows he is a killer, but he is not a bad person. She believes that he will reunite with his wife. Meanwhile, the memory of his wife slowly fades away from Gabimaru’s wife.
