Helldivers 2 releases update 01.000.009 with bug fixes

Summary

Developers Arrowhead are hard at work, releasing their latest title on February 8^th and following it up with two patches since launch.

The latest update, 01.000.009, brings a host of bug fixes, balancing changes, and improved match-making.

The developers have also released a list of known persistent issues they are currently working on, which will be fixed in future patches.

Helldivers 2 was released by Stockholm-based game developers Arrowhead. It is a 3^rd person squad-based shooter that will allow players to combine with three friends.

Developers Arrowhead have brought out the update 01.000.009, just a day after the release of 01.000.008 on PC and PlayStation 5. Version 01.000.009 brings more stability fixes that amend many points that persisted after 01.000.008. Matchmaking is also improved along with balancing changes.

Two patches in two days are relatively unheard of. As a result, players are lauding the developers for their prompt reaction to the persistent issues.

The developers have fixed a crash during the extraction cutscene relating to text-to-speech and crashes during extraction in search and destroy missions after consecutive multiplayer missions.

After shooting with SMG-37 Defender in ADS mode, the title used to crash, which has also been fixed. Players will not receive invalid data from the server’s end during multiplayer services. Lobby and matchmaking services have been improved to increase connectivity chances.

Balancing is at the forefront of this patch, with the difficulty of the Defend event being reduced. Eradicate, Suicide, Impossible, and Helldive missions, which the community found relatively easy, have been buffed in terms of difficulty.

Eradicate’s timer has been increased to 15 minutes. The mission end screen has been updated to reflect stats like Experience and Requisition multiplier better.

They have also fixed the issue where players could bring multiple stratagems to the same mission. They have also issued a list of the known problems and clarified that they are currently working hard to resolve these.

It is good to know that the developers of Arrowhead are keeping an eye out for a game in its infant stages, which was released on February 8^th.
