Need a quick refresher for season 1? No worries, we’ve got you covered!

The first season of Heels consists of eight episodes that follow the journey of Jack and Ace Spade as they struggle to keep their father’s legacy alive in the Duffy Wrestling League (DWL).

The brothers have different visions for the future of the DWL and often clash over their creative and business decisions.

Season 1 depicts the challenges that the DWL faces as it competes with other wrestling promotions, such as Florida Wrestling Dystopia (FWD), run by Charlie Gully (Mike O’Malley), a ruthless rival who tries to sabotage and poach talent from the DWL.

Meanwhile, the makers also dissect the characters’ personal lives, such as Jack’s strained marriage with Staci (Alison Luff), Ace’s depression and substance abuse, Crystal’s ambition and betrayal, and Bill’s downfall.

The season finale culminates in a pivotal match between Jack and Ace at the state fair, where they execute a double turn, meaning that they switch their roles as heel and face.

However, the match is interrupted by Gully and his FWD wrestlers, who invade the ring and attack both brothers. The DWL wrestlers come to their aid and fight back, uniting as a family against a common enemy.

The episode ends with Jack and Ace reconciling their differences and embracing each other in the ring while Gully retreats with his FWD crew.
