First PV for Isekai Anime ‘Heat the Pig Liver’ Reveals October Debut

The isekai genre never fails to amaze anime fans; we have seen people get reincarnated as swords, vending machines, and slimes, but this time you’ll be amazed to know that we now have people being reincarnated as animals.

The story of ‘Heat the Pig Liver’ follows an unappealing otaku who awakens in the body of a pig after he passes out while eating raw pig liver. The pig finds himself in the company of Jess, an innocent girl who can read people’s minds, and she accepts him despite his boorish thoughts, although she does plan to eat him.

On Saturday, the staff behind Takuma Sakai’s Heat the Pig Liver (Buta no Liver wa Kanetsu Shiro) television anime unveiled its first promotional video and key visual. The anime’s main staff and October premiere are announced in the video.

The trailer for the upcoming anime previews the voices of our main characters. Yoshitsugu Matsuoka voices the pig, and Tomori Kusunoki voices Jess.

About Heat the Pig Liver

Heat the Pig Liver is an isekai light novel series written by Takuma Sakai and illustrated by Asagi Tōsaka. It began publishing in March 2020, received a manga adaptation in August 2020 and is slated for a TV anime in 2023.

The story begins when an unappealing otaku consumes raw pig liver and turns into a pig overnight. An innocent girl named Jess, who can read minds, initially picks him up to eat but changes her mind soon after. Pig then proceeds to save Jess from a dark destiny by using his quick wits, wisdom, and refined sense of smell.
