It becomes pretty apparent that everyone is in danger when the bear’s attention is drawn to Hitoshi’s crying. When the bear attacks, Emi is thankfully there to run towards it. Emi successfully stops and restrains the bear after giving it a brutal body slam.

Emi feels enraged when Maou refers to her as the bear killer after Hitoshi’s father thanks her for her bravery. Even the local media covers the incident. The Sasakis sell their crops directly to Tokyo restaurants instead of selling organic crops independently. Maou accompanies Mr. Manji to the farm.

Kazuma has a degree in business administration, and he has contributed to doubling their profits three times since he started helping them. In addition to increasing production and keeping crops fresh, the Sasakis has also succeeded because they use solar panels strategically.

After returning home, Maou and Ashiya are met by a man who informs them that a group of burglars has recently stolen farmers’ crops in Nagano. If the Sasakis are not careful, their target could be the Sasakis since they have yet to be caught.

Maou and his friends discuss seriously how to stop the miscreants after hearing about recent thefts in Nagano. Due to a recent bear attack, there is a very high probability of the next robbery at the Sasakis farm.

People would not be willing to go there at night, giving the thieves a lot of time. Immediately after arriving at the farm, Maou and his friends started analyzing the place to find the most likely target of the thieves. It’s challenging to guess anything on the farm due to its size.

Thanks to grandma, they can better guess the location after listening to the entire conversation outside closed doors. Upon discovering that there is something far more expensive at the farm, Maou immediately realizes that the thieves will not be targeting crops this time.

Maou finally reveals to everyone that this time the thieves will steal the solar panels when Emi cannot figure out what he is talking about.

As soon as Maou realizes what the burglars are after, he tells his friends to divide into two teams so they can catch them red-handed. Consequently, they all waited in the field for the suspected car to arrive the following night. As a result of Maou accidentally touching Suzune inappropriately, they fight.

They immediately hide in the field when the black car arrives. Their attention is drawn to one of the thieves coming out of the car and grabbing something from the area. Maou stops Suzune from attacking and informs his friends about them when he is about to attack.

In this car, four people have recently committed all the burglary incidents in Nagano.

The solar panels are eventually found, and they immediately disconnect so they can be removed. The group is unaware that Maou’s friends are watching all this unfold behind the trees. After beating up one of the burglars and restraining him, Ashiya steps out to take action while the remaining burglars flee.

On the highway, Suzune waits for them, but they do not go far. Taking action alone, she brought the car to a halt. Maou confronts one of them in his demon form when he tries to flee on foot.

About The Devil is a Part-Timer!

The Devil Is a Part-Timer! is a Japanese light novel series written by Satoshi Wagahara, with illustrations by Oniku (written as 029). ASCII Media Works has published the series in Japan, while Yen Press has published the series in North America.

The story revolves around the Demon Lord Satan after he is stuck in the human world. Satan loses against the hero Emilia in his homeworld Ente Isla. He then takes one of his subordinates – Alciel and transports himself to the human world, where he is left powerless due to the lack of magic.

Both Satan and Alciel take human forms, and Satan takes up a part-time job at a fast-food restaurant to earn a living. Things get even more complicated once Emilia arrives under the guise of a human named Emi Yusa. This light-hearted comedy explores the interactions of “evil” and “good.”
