Disney+ has confirmed March as the premiere month for its upcoming K-drama, Soundtrack #1. Starring Park Hyung-sik and Han So-hee, the series won’t be making fans wait for long as it’s just a month away.
Soundtrack #1 is among the many highly-anticipated releases from Disney+. The premiere month was announced with a new still giving a sneak peek into the relationship of the lead couple.
Han Sun-woo (Park Hyung-sik), a rookie photographer, gazes lovingly at Seo Eun-soo (Han So-hee), a lyricist who seems to be writing lyrics with a determined expression.
Disney Plus also took a unique route for the show’s promotion. As the show heavily plays on music, they released OST music videos with image stills in place of video teasers.
Four OSTs for the drama, voiced by prominent K-pop artists, have been released till now—Super Junior Kyuhyun’s Love Beyond Words, Park Bo-ram’s Want to Be Happy, DAVICHI’s Your Tender Heart Hurts Me, and Kim Jong-kook’s My Love.
The music videos show the journey of Han Sun-woo and Seo Eun-soo falling in love, blurring the lines between their two-decade-old friendship. Some stills also suggest that the couple would be breaking each other’s hearts.
All eyes are focused on Park Hyung-sik and Han So-hee’s chemistry. Soundtrack #1 is the first time the audience sees the two actors together.
Thanks to the multitudes of star-studded and award-winning dramas under their belt, both actors remain fan-favorites and enjoy immense domestic and global popularity.
Disney’s OTT platform has now entered the race of investing in the booming Korean entertainment industry like other streaming platforms.
Along with Soundtrack #1, other K-dramas such as coming-of-age drama Rookie Cops, supernatural thriller Moving, action mystery Grid, and fantasy romcom Sixth Sense Kiss are lined up for a 2022 release too.

Soundtrack #1 is an upcoming South Korean mini-drama directed by Kim Hee-won, who helmed Vincenzo and The Crowned Clown. It is one of the first Disney+ original K-drama series.
The music-romance series stars Park Hyung-sik (Strong Woman Do Bong Soon, Hwarang) and Han So-hee (The World of the Married, Nevertheless) in the leads.
