In last week’s episode, Master Chief surrenders and returns to the UNSC. Halsey manages to complete the activation process for Cortana. As John begins to communicate with Cortana, under Dr. Halsey’s watchful eye, he realizes he wants to have access to more memories from his past. He breaks into the UNSC facility and makes contact with the relic again. Elsewhere, Soren decides to join Kwan on her mission to Madrigal.

Halo Episode 4 Speculation
John comes in contact with the relic again and has another vision from his past. This time, he has a vision of his childhood home. His home planet had to be quarantined after being infected, leading to his indoctrination into the Spartan program at a very young age. Interestingly, he also remembers that he has encountered a similar relic as a child. Where will his investigations lead him?
Meanwhile, Kwan and Soren head to Madrigal to try to combat the vicious authority of Vinsher. However, Makee is planning a Covenant mission to the planet as well. Will Makee recover the relic and succeed in her plan to take down Master Chief? Find out in the next episode.

Chapter 4 of the Halo Season 1 series, titled “Capocrimine and the Apocrypha”, has been released on Thursday, Apr 14, 2022 at 12:00 am PDT.

Halo Episode 3 Recap
In this episode, we get to see how Makee came to be the Covenant’s human convert. She faced hardships as a young girl and was taken by the Covenant in their vessel when they struck her home planet. In the present, Makee has vowed to recover the relic stolen by Master Chief.
Meanwhile, Dr. Halsey’s plans to activate her artificial intelligence program Cortana are underway. Her clone’s consciousness is to be transferred into a neurological implant, which could kill the clone. The implant was then to be put into Master Chief by force. Halsey completes the process and is impressed with her invention. Cortana seems to be perplexed by the fact that it cannot gain complete control over John-117.
John communicates with Cortana and expresses how he felt after coming in contact with the relic. Cortana encourages him to remove the emotional inhibitor chip that was embedded in him as part of the Spartan program. He then decides to break into the UNSC to access the relic again. Dr. Halsey is aware of what he’s doing and gives Cortana approval to keep helping John.
