Haikyuu is the go-to sports anime series for fans around the world. Though, at the ending of season 3, fans worried about whether Haikyuu would continue or not. But some recent updates have built up such hype, that fans can’t wait any longer. So, Haikyuu season 4 is going to release on January 2020 with 2 OVA special episodes!!!!
Recently, the franchise of Haikyuu held a major celebration event. The franchise confirms that Haikyuu season 4 will be released in the winter of 2020, as well as the 2 OVA specials. The franchise is creating hype to maintain Haikyuu!! According to the official report, the ova special will feature Nekoma High School, Fukurodani Academy, Nohebi Academy, and Itachiyama Academy who will all fight for the open slots in the Nationals.
The OVA special will show the Tokyo qualifiers with two projects – “Land vs. Sky” and “The Path of the Ball.” Besides this, these OVA are scheduled to release on January 22, 2020, in Japan. Here is the official visual of the Haikyuu!! OVA special-
Furthermore, people who are going to Jump Festa 2020 in Japan this December will have the advantage to buy these OVA projects. For everyone else, the OVA will be available on sale on Blu-ray and DVD in January. Fans who do purchase it at Jump Festa will also get Haikyuu!! goods and extras not included in the retail release. Unfortunately for fans outside of Japan, there are no details about releases in other countries yet.
Haikyuu season 4 will air on TV starting in January 2020 in Japan. Fans have been waiting for the fourth season of Haikyuu forever and now when its finally here, we get a Bonus OVA as well. It seems like the studio did well in exceeding the expectations of fans. Getting the OVA aired with the anime’ 4th season is indeed a great idea. The OVA won’t end up being out of mind.
