Haikyu!!’s fourth and final season, Haikyuu: To The Top, was announced last year in September. After the massive success of the first three seasons, it was surprising that the fourth season would be the final.
Recently, @YonkouProd, an unofficial yet reliable source of anime/manga news, announced on Twitter that Haikyuu’s fourth season’s 2nd cour would air in the Fall 2020 anime season.
At the very beginning of season four, it was announced that Haikyu!!: To the Top would be a split-cour anime comprising a total of 25 episodes.
(A split-cour happens when a season of an anime takes a break for a few months before resuming the broadcast.)
Production IG announced that the popular volleyball anime would be releasing the second part consisting of the final 12 episodes in the summer of 2020 only. Most probably in July itself.
However, due to the ongoing pandemic disruptions, it got postponed.
