The anime will have three different versions: the TV broadcast version, the “gushing” version on streaming services, and the “ultra-gushing” version on Blu-ray Disc and DVD.
The TV broadcast version will censor the audio and visuals, the “gushing” version will censor the audio and some of the visuals, and the “ultra-gushing” version will not censor either.

About Gushing over Magical Girls
‘Gushing Over Magical Girls’ is a magical girl manga series by Akihiro Ononaka. It was first serialized on Takeshobo’s Storia Dash website on March 29, 2019. An anime adaptation is scheduled for January 2024.
The story follows Hiiragi Utena, a middle-school girl who loves magical girls. She is approached by a mysterious doll-like figure who tells her she has magical powers. She agrees to be recruited but later discovers she has joined the evil forces.
Initially disillusioned, Utena discovers her new side and accepts her villainous personality.
