Guardian of the Witch manga Ends with 19 Chapters

The world of fantasy is full of magical creatures like orcs, goblins, elves, demons, and much more. But what defines these mysterious worlds are beings that wield the power of magic and can use it to their own benefit. Usually, these places are filled with magicians and witches.

Guardian of the Witch is another manga belonging to the fantasy genre that features a story where humanity relies on the power of witches to ensure their survival.

The fantasy genre manga by Asahi Sakano concluded in this year’s 29th issue of Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. The series ended after publishing its 19th chapter.

Viz Media and Mangaplus are both releasing the English translations digitally for the series. The manga also concluded simultaneously on both the digital publishers’ websites.

MANGAPLUS describes the series as:

“In a world full of Evils, humanity’s only hope is the inhuman power of the witches. The city of Berne is on the frontline of the demons, and there to protect it is the witch Manasfa and the kingdom’s strongest knight Fafner. But what cruel fate awaits these two? About Guardian of the Witch

Guardian of the Witch is the latest fantasy manga by Asahi Sakano. The manga began serialization in this year’s 10th issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from February 3. The manga shipped its first compiled volume in May, with its second and third volume scheduled to ship in August and September.

It is the latest series by the Mangaka who won an award for Weekly Shonen Jump’s “Treasure Rookie Manga Award” in 2014.

The story takes place in a world full of evil where humanity has retreated behind its kingdom’s walls. The only ones who can protect humanity are witches with their unearthly powers.

The story revolves around the tale of Manasfa, a witch and Fafner who protect the city of Berne that is at the frontline of the war between demons and humans.
