Golden Kamuy season 4 was on a perfect and consistent episode run when it premiered this year in October. Unfortunately, they were a little out of luck when the show had to halt production due to a staff member’s untimely demise.
On November 1, the anime lost an unnamed primary staff member due to their sudden death. The production team stated that they were an indispensable and valuable staff member, resulting in the show’s broadcast being paused.
After much consideration and discussion, the production committee and the Brains Base studio have decided to rebroadcast Golden Kamuy’s fourth season.
It will air from the first episode in April 2023, while its home video releases will ship on July 26, August 30, and September 27, 2023.
Regarding the fourth season of the TV anime, which had been temporarily suspended from the 43rd episode onwards, we will start broadcasting again from the 37th episode in April 2023.
In addition, the 4th season Blu-ray & DVD release date will be changed according to the new broadcast time.

The anime had previously delayed the release of episodes 7-13 since the staff member was crucial to the production. Considering that they won’t be able to produce the anime in such a short time without the staff members, the franchise has come to this conclusion.
In the months that follow, the franchise will find a replacement, and production will resume in full swing. Till then, we can rewatch the previous episodes and wait for the new ones.
While episode 5 was playful and wholesome to an extent, episode 6 was intense beyond our imaginations. Following that, fans thought that the seventh would be the same and wouldn’t let us take our eyes off the screen.
However, there’s only one way of knowing now what would have happened in episode 7, which seems far away. The good thing is that we’re free to speculate or read the manga if you’re curious.
Golden Kamuy was one of the most promising anime this year, but I guess luck wasn’t in their favor this time.
I hope its impact continues in 2023 and the show wrecks havoc among fans.
