Episode 8 of ‘Goblin Slayer II’ is titled “Jungle Cruise”. After a refreshing night at the Elven Kingdom, Goblin Slayer and his team venture into the jungle.
The only way to the nest is an exposed river system. The team has no choice but to use rafts and risk an ambush. Goblin Slayer asks for an extra raft to use as dummies to counter this possibility. Goblin Slayer kills the exposed monsters after the goblins attack the dummy raft.
A vast fort gate comes into view at the end of the river. High Elf Archer breaks through the gate using the elves’ lockpicking skills.

Episode 8 of ‘Goblin Slayer II’ will be released on Friday, November 24, 2023. It is a weekly anime, and new episodes are released every Friday. You can watch ‘Goblin Slayer II’ anime on Crunchyroll.

‘Goblin Slayer II’ is not on a break this week. Episode 8 has not been delayed and will be released on the above-stated date.
2. Episode 8 Speculation
The team rests after a grueling journey across the river and even more walking in the fort. However, the saferoom may be inside goblin nest territory. If the goblins have already sensed their presence, they may attack when everybody’s asleep.
However, Goblin Slayer is experienced enough to be aware even in his sleep. Goblin Slayer will be the first to wake everyone up if an attack occurs. After the group continues their venture, they must watch for a Goblin Shaman.
3. Recap of Episode 7
Goblin Slayer mistakes the incoming massive beast as an elephant, but High Elf Archer corrects him. It’s the One That Stops the Waters, Mokele Mubenhei. Goblin Slayer regroups with the rest of the squad as they figure out how to return the animal to the forest.
Goblin Slayer notices a small goblin riding on its back and focuses on killing it. Archer snipes it from its back, and Dwarf uses a spell to confuse Mokele. During Mokele’s confusion, Goblin Slayer throws a rope around its legs, causing it to stumble and fall.
The group has a celebratory dinner with wine in the elven dining room. After a few drinks, the Elder Elf starts babbling about his upcoming marriage. The following morning, Goblin Slayer and the others prepare to journey through the river to the nest.
Meanwhile, Sword Maiden discovers something of use in the ancient magical books. Although Goblin Slayer may not care much, Sword Maiden writes a letter to the Elven Kingdom. High Elf hands Goblin Slayer an elixir and asks him to return safely.
Goblin Slayer asks for one more boat, which they use as a dummy to be send ahead of their real boat. After the goblins attack the dummies, Goblin Slayer and the others hunt down every goblin that reveals itself. Goblin Slayer sneaks into the fort of goblins using the cover of darkness.
The team eventually reaches a huge spiral downstairs into the basement. After a tiring journey, everybody decides to rest in one of the saferooms for a while.
