Episode 12 of ‘Goblin Slayer II’ is titled “O Prayers, Have You Reached Heaven?” In this episode, the goblin priest finishes his summoning ritual.

Goblin Slayer and the team face the hand of a Greater Demon as it sprouts from the body of the goblin priest. Using a mix of multiple spells and strategies, Goblin Slayer manages to restrain the demon. However, a horde of goblins shows up after hearing the commotion.

Goblin Slayer has been thinking about his lifestyle a lot throughout season 2. In the finale, Goblin Slayer walks back to his home with Cow Girl while thinking about the constant cycle of killing goblins. Every mission is the same; he kills goblins, saves prisoners, and returns home.

Although Goblin Slayer has a vendetta against all goblins, he may be getting tired of this life. The following season may show a new lifestyle for Goblin Slayer. Goblin Slayer may even try taking regular adventurer missions.

Season 3 of Goblin Slayer has not yet been announced. However, Goblin Slayer has been extremely popular during season 1 and 2 airings, so a sequel is highly likely.

3. Recap of Episode 12

Priestess walks up to the Princess and hugs her, reassuring her that everything is fine. Lizard Man recognizes the ancient table, which could be used to resurrect a dark god. The goblin priest kneels over and falls onto the wand.

When the goblin’s blood falls onto his hand, the ritual becomes half-complete, and a giant hand comes out of his body. Priestess recognizes it as a Greater Demon’s hand. The hand casts a spell, and Lizard Man uses his huge body to block it.

Goblin Slayer tells the dwarf to create a wall and block its attack. The team recovers with some potions. The hand strikes them through the wall, knocking out High Elf Archer. Goblin Slayer and Priestess try to unlock the hidden door while evading the hand’s attacks.

Dwarf uses a spell on Lizard Man to bring him back to good health. High Elf Archer fires an arrow at the hand and grabs its attention. Goblin Slayer throws a rope to capture the hand and then pulls it through the elevator door.

Priestess casts a wall to block the hand inside the elevator shaft and then closes it off. On the way out of the dungeon, Goblin Slayer kills the rest of the goblins. Eventually, the team reaches the main exit and finds a massive army of goblins waiting for them.

Although the team prepares for attack, Sword Maiden reaches in the nick of time with many followers. The mighty adventurer casts a giant lightning spell that takes out a huge army section. The whole incident was a secret plot by an opposing party of nobles.

The Knight of Diamonds had uncovered the secret and removed the nobles. Guild Girl talks with Priestess and High Elf Archer about the Princess. However, Goblin Slayer takes a lonely walk while realizing how his missions are an endless cycle. Goblin Slayer hasn’t been able to make a big enough change to the world since goblins keep living.
