In the past few updates, Genshin Impact has started a trend by adding one five-star and one four-star character to the playable roster. The same can be expected in the upcoming update 3.6 which is launching on April 12th.
The Special Program livestream for Genshin Impact update 3.6 confirmed three re-runs in the upcoming version– Nahida, Nilou and Ganyu. This will give players one more chance to pull out these five-star characters in case they missed it the first time.
Nahida is the most powerful Dendro support in Genshin Impact right now. Her Elemental Burst creates a majestic field effect which provides different buffs based on the element it comes into contact with.
She is every player’s go-to choice due to her ability to constantly apply the Dendro element. Nahida can also be a main DPS character. However, one should upgrade all of her constellation levels first.
Nahida will be placed alongside the Hydro user Nilou on the first banner cycle. These characters have great synergy when placed in a team composition that revolves around the elemental reaction Bloom, which lets out small Dendro cores that explode after a few seconds. Nilou’s kit is designed for Bloom and one of her abilities is to turn regular Dendro cores into Bountiful Cores which can deal in greater AoE damage.
The update 3.6 will also include two Dendro characters– Kaveh, a popular Sumeru architect, and Baizhu, the owner of Liyue’s Bubu Pharmacy. The former will be featured on the first banner cycle and is confirmed to be a new support with a decent Dendro application.
The second banner cycle will feature the five-star character Baizhu, and the Cyro bow user Ganyu. Ganyu is an S-tier DPS and one of the strongest Cyro characters alongside Ayaka and Eula.
As the launch date comes closer, we’ll receive more teasers for the upcoming Genshin Impact update. Hopefully, HoYoverse will confirm the second banner cycle soon enough.
