Gekijoban BEM Become Human Film Teaser Trailer Released

Not all of us are fans of anime and sitting for 5-6 episodes to know a story. As a solution, we have the movies which narrate the same story in a shorter duration. Most often, people get hooked by the story and end up watching the anime as well.

In fact, you could also say that these movies act as a promo for the anime.

The producers of the reboot of the anime Humanoid Monsters BEM, announced on Tuesday 26th May that a new anime film by the name Gekijoban BEM Become Human will come out soon. The teaser trailer was released on the official YouTube channel of the anime. The film is expected to premiere this Fall.

The film will be produced at Production I.G., and the distribution will be handled by The Klockworx Co. Ltd. who also handle the distribution of the anime. It will be directed by Hiroshi Ikehata, and scripted by Atsuhiro Tomioka.

The teaser, which carries a very ominous vibe with a mysterious tone, shows off the three main characters BEM, Bela, and Belo as well.

About BEM: Become Human

Humanoid Monster BEM (Yokai Ningen BEM), is a classic supernatural adventure anime with26 episodes which aired between 1968 to 1969. The franchise was rebooted with the release of the new anime BEM, which started airing in July 2019. It was streamed by Funimation.

The rebooted anime even got a manga adaptation written and illustrated by Mosae Nohara on the Manga Park website and app by Hakusensha. The manga ended on 19th February.

The story of the anime revolves around 3 main characters, namely BEM, Bela, and Belo. They are humanoid monsters known as Yokai. They live among humans and protect them from evil Yokai. For this reason, the three of them are detested by other monsters. They are also ostracized by humans because of their looks. Still, they keep hope and keep fighting for humans, hoping to become humans themselves someday.
