FUNimation Discarded Interspecies Reviewers Due To Content Boundations

With a slew of new content coming this year, some of it is bound to be rated, adult.

Recently FUNimation put up a notice on their website to inform the viewers that Interspecies Reviewers are being taken down from the streaming platform. This happened because the series is not under FUNimation’s general viewership standards, i.e., it contains adult material. 

The series got an anime adaptation which premiered on January 11. FUNimation planned to stream the Subbed as well as a Dubbed version of the anime’s first season. The streaming platform put out the following statement:

After careful consideration, we determined that this series falls outside of our standards. We have the utmost respect for our creators, so rather than substantially alter the content, we felt taking it down was the most respectful choice.

The first season of the anime is slated to have 12 episodes. The cast and staff are as follows:
