1. Episode 20 Release Date

Episode 20 of the anime Fruits Basket, titled “Are You Okay?,” will be released on Tuesday, August 18, 2020.

No, episode 20 of the Fruits Basket Season 2 anime will be released as per its schedule; thus, no such delay is announced.

The preview of episode 20 was not shown at the end of the previous episode.

The title is “Are You Okay?” We speculate that this episode will proceed with Rin and Tohru trying to figure out a way to break the zodiac curse.

3. Recap of Episode 19

Episode 19 titled, “There’s No Way, None!,” begins with Rin lying on her bed, regaining consciousness, and Tohru asking her if she is feeling fine.

Tohru then calls Hatori and Shigure to let them know Rin had woken up.

Rin then told them that she remembers everything about turning into a horse and collapsing. Which is why they couldn’t take her to the hospital.

I. Tohru Calms Rin

Hatori then suggested that Rin must go to the hospital. But Rin refused to do so and attempted to jump and run away from the window.

Hatori grabs her back inside. When Tohru came and pleased her to stop. Her voice seemed to have helped Rin calm down and Hatori closed the window.

While Shigure asked her to control herself. Rin doesn’t want things to end the way it is in the current moment with the burden of being a zodiac member. 

II. She Came to Visit

Hatori left along with Tohru and Shigure who noticed that Tohru was worried about Rin’s health.

He jokingly said that he is dating Rin to stop her from worrying. As Hatori left, Shigure walked him out and discussed about Akito.

Shirgure told Hatori that Rin came to visit him in order to find out a way to break the Zodiac curse. In the expectation that he must know how to lift the curse. 

III. What is on Rin’s Mind

In the morning Yuki visited Rin and reminded her that Haru still loves her a lot. She then reminisces how Haru changed her life and just how kind he is.

Rin wanted to open up to Tohru as well. But she was afraid as Tohru was too kind and to her kind people end up getting hurt.

So didn’t want to involve Tohru into the Soma family’s matters. But eventually, she gave in and decided to team up with Tohru in order to figure out a way to break the zodiac curse together.

At the end of the episode, we see that Tohru again has a nightmare about her mother.

Fruits Basket, abbreviated to Furuba or Aruba, is a Japanese shōjo manga series written and illustrated by Natsuki Takaya.

It was serialized in the semi-monthly Japanese magazine Hana to Yume, published by Hakusensha, from 1998 to 2006. 

The series’ title comes from the name of a popular game played in Japanese elementary schools, alluded to in the series.

It tells the story of Tohru Honda, an orphan girl who, after meeting Yuki, Kyo, and Shigure Soma, learns that twelve members of the Soma family are possessed by the animals of the Chinese zodiac and are cursed to turn into their animal forms when they are weak, stressed, or when they are embraced by anyone of the opposite sex that is not possessed by a zodiacal spirit.

As the series progresses, Tohru learns of the hardships and pain faced by the afflicted Somas, and through her own generous and loving nature, helps heal their emotional wounds.
