Forza Horizon 5’s Series 9 Patch Fixes Bugs, Adds New Features & More

Forza Horizon 5’s first-ever DLC is in collaboration with the beloved Hot Wheels and is slated to arrive on July 19. However, players will be able to take the classic toy cars out for a spin much before the slated release date, thanks to Forza Horizon 5 Series 9, which begins on June 23.

In contrast to the minuscule Series 8, Playground Games is kicking it up a notch with Series 9 by adding a plethora of Hot Wheels-themed cars, events, challenges, and new features to the game.

To set it all up, the developer has rolled out a new accompanying patch, which might look modest at first, but features a slew of new features and fixes to enhance the quality of the open-world racing game.

In terms of graphics, this latest patch for Forza Horizon 5 adds the much-desired Temporal Antialiasing (TAA) support for PC players, which will provide them with an improved visual experience at 1080p on high-end systems.

Moreover, a new monthly Rivals event starring electric vehicles has been introduced to the game. The event will kick off with Series 9 and feature a different EV each month.

The update has also added co-op supporting up to six players for Horizon Story events, a duplicate filter to the Car Select screen filter, and new localization languages to Forza Horizon 5.

Now coming to fixes, exploits related to Photo Mode and gifted cars now cease to exist. Moreover, many EventLab issues, such as the ones where the stadium floor wouldn’t load when starting an event nearby or where players entering EventLab events with a full convoy would get disconnected, are ironed out too.

The update is available on every platform of the game and comes in at approximately 16.09GB.
