Quest Encounters take place only in specific spots of Aeternum, and if you walk out of the particular mission zone, the quest will be abandoned.
To complete ‘Place the Musk to Lure the Alpha,’ you will first have to kill wolves nearby the wolf cave and collect at least five Musk. When done, head inside the cave, where you’ll see a bright spot. Interact with it by pressing ‘E,’ and this optional objective will be completed.
After the Alpha is lured out, you will also have to hold your ground against wolves’ assault and kill Greytooth to claim Lush Alpha Pelt.
Your reward for taking the wolves on and completing the Quest Encounter – Place the Musk to Lure the Alpha is an Adventurer’s Musket, shelling out 400 XP, 64.75 Coins, and 250 Territory Standing.
