Five Nights at Freddy’s: Blumhouse Reveals Release Date & First Look

This is the year of video game adaptations, and Blumhouse is giving us yet another one! Jason Blum posts a new poster revealing the first look of the terrifying animatronic killers of the production’s latest horror film, “Five Nights at Freddy’s.” With this exclusive teaser, Blum also confirms the release date for the upcoming movie.

Going to Twitter, the Blumhouse Productions founder shared the first poster for “Five Nights at Freddy’s,” painting the ominous animatronic mascots of a shut-down recreational center in a frightening neon. After adding the main poster with the caption “Can you survive Five Nights at Freddy’s?” he also added standalone posters of Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy.

Check out the posters below, where you will also find the 2023 release date for the film at theaters and on Peacock:

The four animal robots will be the main source of our terrors in the 2023 film, and you can choose to watch it in theaters or on Peacock on October 27. Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie the Bird, Chica the Chicken, and Foxy the Pirate Fox, entertain their patrons during the day and use them to bloody their weapons at night.

This supernatural horror story is about Mike Schmidt (Josh Hutcherson), a troubled night guard who must deal with these killer mascots. But the main antagonist might be William Afton, played by Matthew Lillard, who is the creator of the psychotic animal robots in the game, though we know little about his role in the film.

William was the co-founder of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza and the creator of the four fuzzy killers. His slender purple figure will soon be revealed by Blumhouse, along with the first look of the rest of our cast, including Hutcherson, Mary Stuart Masterson, Piper Rubio, and more.

The film stars Josh Hutcherson, Matthew Lillard, Mary Stuart Masterson, Piper Rubio, Kat Conner Sterling, and Elizabeth Lail. The film will release simultaneously in theaters and on Peacock on October 27, 2023.
