Fire Force manga ending- Explained.

Fire Force manga ended with the release of 304th, an extraordinary turn of events unfolds as Shinra Kusakabe emerges as the world’s savior, making him a hero.

In essence, the whole planet had become a new Sun. Shinra, Sho, and Arthur survived by being in space.

Shinra had resurrected the earth and every human being, even those who passed away long ago. In this manner, the Shinigami had taken all their fire powers, and they now obtain powers only from their soul.

The storyline takes a significant leap of 25 years, revealing a 42-year-old Shinra, now holding the prestigious title of Supreme Commander of the World Heroes Force and Obi being the president.

News spreads that Shinra’s child has been enlisted in the World Heroes Forces. Amidst the praise from his friends, Shinra reflects on his long and meaningful life, acknowledging the significance of his child.

Then the next scene is set in the distant future. A world set a few years before soul eater begins. We see a Shinigami creating Death the Kid, making him resemble Shinra.

The chapter concludes with a jaw-dropping revelation that leaves fans in utter astonishment.

We see Black Star and Soul from Soul Eater and Maka’s parents reading to Maka about how the Fire Force saved the world and they end with the words “Next is Soul World.”

Is Fire Force manga’s ending the prequel to Soul Eater?

Yes, the Fire Force manga’s ending has been shown as the prequel to Soul Eater as the manga ends off with Death the Kid, Soul, Black Star, and Maka appearing as young kids and concludes with “Next is Soul world.”

These are the characters from Atsushi’s creation, Soul Eater. The Soul Eater manga was published in Square Enix’s shōnen manga magazine Monthly Shōnen Gangan from May 12, 2004, till August 12, 2013.

Since Shinra has resurrected the world and all human beings, he also created the shinigami named Death, which makes him the grandpa of Death the Kid.

Other than the ending showing the younger versions of Soul, Maka, etc., the two worlds had been suspected to be connected.

Besides the fact that the same creator created them, the shows were quite similar thematically and in their art style. For example, the moon in Fire Force had the same toothy grin as the one in Soul Eater.

Interestingly, Fire Force’s final chapter even revealed Maka Albarn’s mom. It’s seen that Maka is reading a story about the tale of Shinra Kusakabe from a history book sitting between her parents.

Also, Shinra worked for Fire Force’s 8th Company. Subsequently, 8 is also the favorite number of Death the Kid in Soul Eater.

Another thing to mention is that the ending ties harmoniously into Shinra’s name, which was derived from the Japanese word “shinrabanshō,” which can be translated as either “all creation” or “all things in nature.”
