The village furthers its relations and gains new members in episode 8 of Farming Life in Another World titled “The Researcher and the Two Princesses.”
As Hiraku prepares to make miso soup, he is alerted to an impending attack between a giant bear and a monstrous viper. However, they are nothing more than something to use for their next meal to someone like him.
Introducing a new village member, Lastismoon, a fearsome dragon known well over the lands, sends shivers down everyone’s spine as her immense strength is not something to scoff about.

The spy will likely turn sides soon as she realizes Hiraku’s strength and charm over everyone in the village. They already have enough military power that the demon army could never handle.
Beasts of this much strength have never been gathered in one area before, and she will likely go back and report this to the kingdom, causing their worries to worsen. We may also see the miso soup finally be ready to prepare since it has been left to ferment for now.

3. Recap of Episode 8:
The Beastmen from the Howling village has moved to the town and are being accommodated hospitably by Hiraku. All the high elves and the angels can use magic, even the little monsters.
Hiraku is unable to use magic. However, one of the security guards warns Hiraku that a bear and a viper are fighting in the jungle, and Hiraku takes them out with one attack and prepares to cook him.
They prepare wine-based fancy meals with the beasts and Hiraku, then ask for more ingredients to spice up his cooking. They begin their attempt at making miso and take it to step by step throughout the elaborate process.
However, it will take a few months to ferment correctly, and they’ll need to wait. Meanwhile, Donovan and a group of dwarves visit the village after hearing of their infamous wine. They prepare some corn whiskey and give it to Hiraku as a gift.
In celebration, they have a welcome party for everyone in the village and even the dragon lord comes to visit. Another dragon comes to the town and seems hostile as Hiraku goes to fall it in one swoop.
Luckily he misses the beast. As it turns out, they’re just more of Dryme’s family members who came to visit. Dryme’s constant sneaking out of the village made them suspicious, so the family came to find out now.
Dryme’s wife tells her daughter Lasty to stay in the village to keep his power in check and ensure it is never turned against them. However, her immense power is proving a challenge to keep under control.
All the farm animals are also naturally scared of the dragon in their vicinity; even visiting villages are extremely anxious around the dragon girl—the demon village’s messenger returns, trembling in his boots at the sight of her.
He sends his daughter to stay in the village for a while and is introduced to the farm by Lasty as she tries to figure out what is happening. She wants to analyze their military strength as she notes all the species and infamous beasts on the planet.
4. About Farming Life in Another World
Farming Life in Another World is an isekai manga by Kinosuke Naito. It was first launched in 2016 and will receive an anime in 2023.
The manga focuses on Kiraku, a middle-aged man who dies of overwork. A deity takes pity on him and transports him into another world with a younger and healthy body with additional powers.
Hiraku chooses to have a peaceful life farming and tending to his land. He eventually makes friends and even a tiny village on his farming journey.
